INSPIRATION

By Mireille Pacquet posted January 2016.

In 2006, I saw one of the most popular videos on education by Sir Ken Robinson's in a Ted talk where he was explaining with all the wit and intelligence that characterised him how school naturally stifled curiosity and creativity out of children. Sir Ken Robinson has inspired me ever since to question this post industrial model of education and to dream of an alternative model that could empower students to learn and thrive in the future. I believe every learner has a creative potential that can be unlocked through empathy. It is the reason why I imagined a safe learning space where people can open up in a respectful environment and inspire each other using games and stories.
